We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities and support to vulnerable individuals in Uganda, with a special focus on children. Our goal is to ensure education, protection, and opportunities that allow them to improve their present and future.
MISSION
Our mission is to improve the quality of life in vulnerable communities in Uganda through programs focused on child protection, education, the promotion of values, mental health, and economic independence.
We are committed to creating opportunities that enable them to overcome poverty, develop their full potential, and contribute positively to their well-being and the well-being of their communities.

Our vision is a fairer world, where all people, regardless of their origin, have access to the tools and resources necessary to build a dignified future in their own country.

TEAM MEMBERS
Nafasi Uganda was founded by Antonio Morollón, María Morollón, and Laura Mireles.
In addition to the founders, Nafasi Uganda has a large team of family and friends whose collaboration is key to moving forward. They continue to collaborate and assist with the numerous needs that arise.

We are committed to complete transparency in everything we do. All funds go directly to projects in Uganda, from construction to programs. We pledge to maintain clear communication with our donors, ensuring the proper use of every contribution. Our work is for and with the people in Uganda, guided by our commitment to work toward a slightly better world.

WHAT DOES NAFASI MEAN?
Nafasi comes from Swahili and means opportunity, which is the central mission of our NGO. At Nafasi Uganda, we believe in the transformative power of an opportunity—whether it's a second chance to grow in a safe environment, access to quality education, or simply the chance to be heard and valued.
In a country where opportunities are limited for many, we strive to create spaces where opportunities not only exist but multiply.
Meaning of the logo
The Nafasi Uganda logo is full of symbolism and represents the values and goals of our NGO.
The house, with its simple and basic shape like a child’s drawing, symbolizes home and protection, where care, support, and affection are provided.
The sun symbolizes hope, optimism, and the warm climate of Uganda, reflecting a brighter future for the people we work with, reminding us that there is always light even in difficulties.
The palm tree represents the nature of Uganda, more specifically, it represents the banana tree, an essential fruit in the daily diet of the country.
The door symbolizes being welcomed. It represents the entrance to a better future and reflects our mission of opening paths.
The color that represents us is green, symbolizing the hope of creating a better world and the nature of the country, known as "The Pearl of Africa" for its lush green landscapes.
